Information

The was the first non-psion PDA to use Psions EPOC32 operating system became available late in 1997 with configurations of both 4Mb to 16Mb which used an Integrated GlidePoint Pad (can you Imagine a Series 5 with a glide pad instead of a touch screen). It also came bundled EnRoute, Chess, and the Internet package and a PCMCIA slot and supplied PCMCIA modem card. The screen was slightly larger than that of Psion Series 5's.

Geofox the company was based in Cambridge, with an office in Austin, Texas, and was founded in 1996 by a team including people from Tadpole, the maker of Intel and SPARC high end laptops. I would say that the sadest thing about this model was that it ended it life soon after it was released in 1999.
